Privacy Policy

1. Overview

IronLog ("we", "us", "our") is a gym workout tracking application for Android. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and used. We are committed to keeping your data minimal and under your control.

2. Data we collect

Data stored locally on your device

All workout data — sessions, sets, reps, weights, personal records, training plans, and body weight entries — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable sync.

Account data (optional)

If you choose to create an account, we store your email address via Supabase (our backend provider). This is used only for authentication and to link your data to your account if you opt into sync.

Analytics and crash reports

We may collect anonymised crash reports and usage statistics to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.

3. Data we do NOT collect

  • We do not sell your data to any third party.
  • We do not run advertising networks or share data with advertisers.
  • We do not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Payments are processed manually via UPI. We do not store your UPI ID or any payment credentials. After payment is confirmed, your subscription is activated by our team. For billing questions, contact support@ironlog.in.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your local workout data is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or use the "Delete all data" option in Settings. If you have an account, you may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Third-party services

IronLog uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — authentication and optional cloud sync. Data is stored in data centres in the EU/US region. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
  • Google Play — app distribution only.

7. Children

IronLog is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of IronLog after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
